You might be asking yourself where we were last Monday. Well, in all honesty, I was enjoying the UK bank holiday and having a COZY day of my own. But, now I’m back, baby!

Video Games that Caught our Eye

Is This Yours?

Is This Yours? is a free-to-play mobile game (iOS / Android) that has you sorting through item-filled boxes to fish out the lost property of various animals. It’s simple, bite-sized, and has one chapter at the moment; An airport. There is a zen mode that’s quite relaxing to work through. I reviewed the game for Indie Games Plus.

Cattle Country

Gang on the way to the club be like…

If you are looking for another Stardew Valley-like, Cattle Country has just launched on PC and Console, and is currently discounted for launch. It has you starting off in a small town, mining, fishing, and all that good stuff. You’ve got quests, LOTS of items to collect, and tons of land to explore. It’s not gripped me as much as Stardew did, but I am enjoying the game.

SUMMERHOUSE

Fun fact, A Bug’s Life was filmed round the back of this house.

SUMMERHOUSE is one of those games that feels like a toy to me. There isn’t any sort of goals or timers, but instead the freedom to build stunning little homes, in a variety of places. It’s tranquil, cozy, and fun to create these whimsical places.

Pie Backpack

Remove the purse to bring Pacman to life!

Now, this does feel a little cottage-core when it comes to it’s cozy level. This pie backpack comes in three types; Cherry, Apple and Blueberry. I think it’s such a cute design and the removable slice that acts as a little purse? Amazing.

Jellyfish Babies Crochet Pattern

A smack of jellyfish (yes that is the collective noun).

If you want to start a new hobby or pick up one you may have been neglecting, this free crochet pattern for jellyfish babies looks so adorable! Maybe it’s their colors, maybe it’s the beady eyes, maybe it’s just that they are tiny.

Timber Town Board Game

Timber Town is a two-player drafting board game where tiles float down the river, ready for you to grab them up and build up your town. It was recently showcased at UKGE before it’s release, but you can pre-order it for shipment next month!

Oshoppu Kawaii is an independently-owned shop full of cute, cozy, and colorful collectables! This is a picture of the window, which is already fantastic. Think cozy stuffed toys, stickers, stationary. You can also order from them online, but if you are in Norwich, do give the shop a look - it’s an experience.
